Hello Fellow Environmentalists!
My name is Kennedy and I am interning with Fellow Environmental Partners this summer. I am studying Environmental Policy and Management with a concentration in Natural Resource Management at The University of Denver. I am very excited to be a part of this mission of researching and reclaiming orphaned oil and gas wells.
I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where oil and gas have been an integral industry to the success and development of the city and state. After learning that orphaned oil and gas wells pose a social and environmental risk to my home state, this mission became especially pertinent to me.
Over the next 10 weeks, I will be uploading posts to take you on a journey sharing what I learn about super interesting topics associated with orphaned wells FEP’s mission. Join along and learn something new! And please let me hear back from you.
